Here are a few things people often ask before beginning therapy.
Where do appointments take place?
All appointments are by video. Fiat Family Services does not have a physical office or offer in-person visits. You must be physically located in Kansas during your session.
How long is a session?
Therapy sessions are generally about 50 minutes. Confirm the length of your specific appointment when scheduling.
What happens at the first session?
You will complete intake information online beforehand. Lindsey will review that information, talk with you about your concerns and goals, and explain the therapeutic process.
What is teletherapy?
Teletherapy is a video appointment in which you and your therapist can see and speak with one another from separate locations. You will need a private space, internet connection, camera, and microphone.
Do you accept insurance?
Insurance participation may change. Contact us to verify current plans, costs, and self-pay options before scheduling.
Are evening or weekend appointments available?
Availability is limited. Please reach out to ask about current openings and times.
What is the cancellation policy?
The current cancellation and no-show policy will be shared as part of scheduling and intake.
